Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi
Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi was appointed Minister of Social Development and Family in November 2024.
Career
Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi assumed the position of Minister of Education and Higher Education from October 2021 until November 2024 and was the President of the National Committee for Education, Culture and Science during that time.
Throughout her career spanning over 20 years, HE Buthaina was able to amass several achievements and attain invaluable experience in various fields of education.
Her Excellency Ms Al Nuaimi has held several leadership positions, including President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation from 2016 until 2021. HE Buthaina had also developed various programmes, established specialised schools and centres and served in several national education committees and trustee boards for schools and universities.
Earlier in her career, HE Buthaina was a teacher at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education schools.
Education
Her Excellency holds an EMBA from HEC Paris and a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education, majoring in English from Qatar University.
